Our Cycling Center in Mallorca is located in the magnificent Aparthotel Estrella de Mar &Spa****, in the centre of Puerto de Alcudia, a luxurious Hotel, only 300 m from one of the longest and most beautiful beaches in Mllorca, on the picturesque north coast of the island.

The Hotel offers 125 large and modern apartment style rooms, surrounded by a garden with exotic plants, lake formed swimming-pool, water fall and Jacuzzi. All apartment rooms are fully equipped with terrace, kitchenette, air conditioning, bathroom and satellite TV.

A fully equipped gymnasium offers indoor training possibilities and the Spa centre (free access) with Sauna, Steam Bath, Jacuzzi, offers relaxation and recovery.

We offer guided rides, 5 to 6 different performance levels and rides with Sean Kelly, the Irish “King of the Classics”, world ranked number 1 cyclist

What is included in your fit?

We do a full functional flexibility and core stability assessment before we start with your bike fit. We look closely at your foot function and help you understand how this relates to the pedal action on the bike. We then take your cleat position and help you demystify where they are supposed to be and reasons why.

From here we get you and your bike setup and make a full comprehensive dynamic analysis of your current position and then make changes to get you into your best and most effective position which is also discipline specific. Using 3D motion capture technology, with Retul, we can give you the best possible set up with the absolute best measurement information available today.

After the bike fit, and using the same technology, we give you a complete and comprehensive printout of the finalized fitting data so that you have this information to take with you in an easy to understand form. This information is super if you come to Mallorca and use a rented bicycle. You can perfectly transfer your information over once you get home and have the ability to use the data to set up multiple bikes accurately!

We usually book up toward the end of each week and so it's helpful for you to use our online booking form to get a date set up.

Bring your own saddle for the best Mallorca Experience or Buy a new one with us.

An important part of your fit also revolves around your choice of bike saddle which can affect where your fore/aft position. Bring your own saddle with you if you are renting a bicycle and would like to get a fit in Mallorca. We can fit you very precisely even on a rental bike when you have your own saddle with you. We will have a top selection of saddles with us to purchase in Mallorca at super pricing from Fizik, Selle Italia, and SMP among a few others. Pricing ranges for saddles in Mallorca start at 55€.

Bring your own bike for the best Mallorca Experience.

Looking to get the best time in Mallorca with your cycling? Bring your own bike with you. Sure there is a little bit of extra work involved in packing your bike for the trip but the rental bikes available may not always be exactly as they are advertised. We have seen this first hand and we really try to be as objective as possible. You spend a certain amount of money to come to Mallorca for your cycling holiday, so the best way you can make sure you get the most out of that experience is with your own bike!

Make sure your Pedal Cleats are in good shape!

We have new cleats with us in Mallorca and we'll let you know if you should replace them. We carry cleats from Shimano, and Look with us at the fit camps in all ranges of float and cost 18€.

We will sometimes add cleat wedges under your pedal cleats to change the angle at how you stand on the pedals or within your shoes. These wedges are 20€ and really make a big difference in your shoe/pedal interface.

Cycling holidays and training in Mallorca

 

Our 2010 cycling package in Mallorca :

• Cycling package for 7 nights Half Board, based on two sharing one apartment, airport transfer incl., for groups of mini 10 people (a group leader handles booking and payments for the group), without flight :

 

If booking before 23rd Dec 2009 :   458 €

If booking before 31st Jan 2010 :    468 €

If booking before 10th Feb 2010 :    478 €

Booking after 10th Feb 2010 :         498 €

 

• Flights : will be charged at cost +10% admin fee. For our guests in the Sterling zone, if the air-line company invoices in Sterling, we invoice flights in Sterling as well in order to avoid the Euro exchange rate.
  You can save the 10% admin. fee by booking the flights yourself.
  
• Advantageous family conditions in the hotel :
• 70 €/week/child (airport transfer not incl.) for children between 3 and 14 years, staying in the same apartment with two adults
• no charge (transfer not incl.) for children under 2 years

Easter : 4th & 5th April 2010 ; there is a 40 € supplement for the week including the Easter week end of April 4th & 5th – (excl. children)

• Bike hire prices are unchanged : 100 €/week + 2 €/day optional damage cover
• Bike airport transfer for those bringing their own bike : 25 € return
